Naturmega produces marine and algal concentrates of Omega-3 EPA/ DHA, where the highest concentration of EPA/DHA in marine oils comes from anchovy, sardines and tuna. These Fish accumulate these fatty acids by consuming algae.
Algae-based concentrates are available for individuals who prefer a plant-based source of EPA and DHA.
We offer tailormade concentrations of EPA/DHA in Ethyl Ester, Triglyceride, Free Fatty and now in Phospholipid form.
Advanced Production technology
Naturmega employs a meticulous molecular distillation process to concentrate the essential omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. By utilizing temperatures below 120ºC, we ensure that the original molecular structure remains intact, preventing any potential deterioration.
We also offer our innovative extraction process utilizing supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) to obtain Omega-3 from natural sources with unparalleled efficiency and purity.
First and foremost, our supercritical CO2 extraction method ensures the preservation of the delicate Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish or plant-based sources. This gentle approach minimizes oxidation and maintains the integrity of the essential nutrients, resulting in a highly potent and bioavailable end product.
Quality Control
The most important raw material for our process is fish oil, so we buy it base don demanding quality specifications endorsed by International Certifying Surveyors such as SGS. Our fish oil comes from different species of deep-water FISH FROM THE PERUVIAN COASTS, considered the cleanest in the world, which translates to lower levels of pollutants such as heavy metals, pesticides (PBC, dioxins, etc); in general, lower levels of persistent organic pollutants (POP).
