Naturmega unveils Supria X2™, a new generation of phospholipid omega-3 beyond krill
SupriaX2™, a next-generation omega-3 ingredient, introduces a new approach to phospholipid delivery, enabling higher levels of phospholipids bonded to EPA + DHA for improved efficiency, absorption, and performance.
Phospholipids have long been recognized for enhancing omega-3 bioavailability, a concept popularized by krill oil. However, their performance remains inherently limited by natural composition and marine sourcing.
SupriaX2™ is designed to move beyond these constraints.
Through a controlled bonding approach, it increases the amount of phospholipids linked to EPA + DHA, enabling more efficient delivery and allowing more omega-3 to be delivered in the same 2 softgels.
In a direct comparison per serving (2 softgels, 1000 mg total), SupriaX2™ delivers 250 mg EPA and 200 mg DHA, totaling 450 mg EPA + DHA, along with 300 mg of total phospholipids, of which 120 mg are bonded to EPA + DHA, representing 40% of its phospholipid content.
By comparison, krill oil typically provides around 120 mg EPA and 56 mg DHA (176 mg total), with approximately 400 mg of total phospholipids, but only ~80 mg are bonded to EPA + DHA, equivalent to approximately 20%, based on internal proprietary analytical methods.
This means SupriaX2™ delivers not only double the strength of EPA + DHA, but also a significantly higher proportion of phospholipids effectively linked to omega-3, enabling more efficient absorption and a more targeted delivery of omega-3 where it matters most.
